Jerome Hardaway is an Air Force veteran and the Founder and Executive Director of Vets Who Code, a nonprofit that trains U.S. military veterans and military spouses in coding to launch careers in technology. Since 2014, he has led the organization in preparing 300+ veterans for roles in the tech industry, generating $20M+ in collective alumni earnings. A self-taught software engineer, he built Vets Who Code as a fully remote, open-source program focused on modern web development and AI-powered tools, blending hands-on projects with a structured, mission-driven approach to learning. Jerome is passionate about empowering veterans and military spouses to succeed in tech careers and is dedicated to fostering a supportive community for lifelong learning and growth.
